This year, we’ve selected our Top 10 “Not Just British” albums of 2011 – a smattering of albums that made the most impact on us this year – regardless of locale. Is there some sort of scientific reasoning that went into how we determine all of this? The simple answer is NO. Sometimes it’s something as simple as a guitar riff, a chorus, or a catchy lyric – music doesn’t need to be complicated to make an emotional connection with you as a listener.
